EdT & EdP & PARFUM

EdT & EdP & PARFUM

If you had a perfume, you probably have seen these letters on it. Many people think that they aren’t important, but they actually have a more significant meaning than one might assume.

The strength of a fragrance is dependent on the amount of perfume oil that is used. Perfume oil is mixed with alcohol to create the intensity of a perfume ; the more oil, the stronger the scent and the longer it will last.

Understanding the difference between these strengths can help you choose the right perfume.

EdT: Eau de Toilette

It can contain 8% Perfume oil. They are considered good quality in terms of strength. Yes, Eau de Toilette is perhaps the most well-known category, containing up to 8% essential oil. Ideal for everyday wear, fragrances that are distinctive, yet not too intense.

EdP: Eau de Parfum

If you're looking for a long-lasting scent, choose a bottle marked EdP - the Eau de Parfum fragrance content ranges from 8% to 15%. Eau de Parfum has a higher concentration of fragrance, which results in a longer-lasting and more aromatic application.

Parfum

We recommend it for unusual, bright events, when it is appropriate to use a unique, intense and seductive fragrance - to stand out from the crowd.
The content of fragrances here can be up to 30%. With a Parfum, you will definitely feel exceptional.
At the same time, we are talking about the most expensive type.

  • Eau Fraîche – less than 3% parfume oil
